Zarathustra says:
What’s the news of the world you goat bastard
Goat says:
Now that was uncalled for. i believe its a tabloid news paper
Goat says:
Whats with the dog?
Zarathustra says:
I have no idea
Zarathustra says:
Internet cafe
Goat says:
ah.
Goat says:
whats up?
Zarathustra says:
how’s things?
Goat says:
meh, very horny. apart from that they are okay
Goat says:
you?
Zarathustra says:
All good
Zarathustra says:
Usual cheerful self
Goat says:
excellent
Zarathustra says:
Had an odd debate with ***** last night, did she send you the whats most important in life question?
Goat says:
yep, then didnt reply cause i gave a list
Zarathustra says:
Hear her own answer?
Goat says:
nope
Goat says:
what was it?
Zarathustra says:
To leave a mark
Goat says:
ha... seriously?
Zarathustra says:
Yep
Goat says:
he he.
Zarathustra says:
Thought she;d know better than THAT
Zarathustra says:
of course she doesnt read David Gemmell
Goat says:
yeah... but come on, you want to leave a mark you do it by setting an example, and living well, not commitng a single act
Zarathustra says:
Dont get why leaving a mark is important at all. Its basically allowing your death to define your life.
Goat says:
well i pride myself on knowing my death will only make a difference when given to save another persons life, the difference
will be to them and I wouldnt want to be recognised for it, but that’s not important to me, just something I accept
Zarathustra says:
Same here, but living your life on the basis of leaving a mark is pretty much basing your life on what people will think,
after your dead.
Goat says:
ill die knowing i left a mark, its impossible not to, people will mourn me, so its irrelevant, I help people when I’m
alive but not so I can make a mark
Zarathustra says:
Thing is time will make all our marks irrelevant
Goat says:
yes... but that happens with everything, but our actions affect all the futures, so our mark lives on just not recognised
Zarathustra says:
Hehe we're all just instruments of life anyway, so our marks arent really are own.
Goat says:
they are, for a given definition of the self
Zarathustra says:
The self is just a facet of the greater life. We both know independence from it is just an illusion.
Goat says:
yes, but the illusion allows society to exist.
Goat says:
and the illusion is full of treats for the sampling
Goat says:
provided you accept its an illusion you are free to live in it
Zarathustra says:
Not very well though.Silly people.
Goat says:
but people none the less
Zarathustra says:
I know. I dont rob them of that.
Goat says:
i know, it wasnt an accusation, cogito ergo capra sum, i think therefore i am a goat
Zarathustra says:
You worked it out?
Goat says:
what out?
Zarathustra says:
The latin for it
Goat says:
no, just guessing, havent had time to check.
Zarathustra says:
ah. She didnt seem to like me pointing out that it wasnt a good policy.Kept saying I was wrong. Didnt make any arguements
just kept saying I was wrong
Goat says:
She’ll do that.
Zarathustra says:
I said time will pass on till all we are remembred the same way as the dinosaurs. They'll know we existed but you couldnt
describe our lives or know anything about us individuals.
Goat says:
thats true, but we are already the dinosaurs
Zarathustra says:
Hehe yeah.David Gemmell is a smart man.
Zarathustra says:
So what you been up to?
Goat says:
yeah. i decided time cant exist.
Goat says:
nothing, really
Zarathustra says:
Whats the basis for the time one?
Goat says:
well time is a human thing, and due to the fact that time passes slower due to the situation, or faster as it may be and
is in fact relative to the object, that means there is no constant in time, so what we know as time is not time at all but
simply a method of measuring the rate of change from one state to the next, between two set points, and in fact cannot be
experienced because one of those points is in the past one in the future neither of which exist so there is no rate of change,
just a constant. nothing changes bar our perceptions
Zarathustra says:
Essentially time is nothing but a construct of our perceptions to stop our minds popping.
Goat says:
pretty much, it makes no sense, the same way space and maths a dont work at all together
Zarathustra says:
Maths is human construction, no reason for it for it be infallible.
Goat says:
oh i know, but so are space and time
Zarathustra says:
Also constructs to stop our heads popping?
Goat says:
oh yeah, so is the idea of a head
Zarathustra says:
This is going to come back to everything being inseparable and attempting to is an illusion isn’t?
Zarathustra says:
isn’t it?
Goat says:
pretty much, its where it all comes from.
Zarathustra says:
I'd have to agree. Seeing as everything is interconnected, nothing really changes or moves its appearance just alters.
Goat says:
not its appearance, our perception of its appearance
Zarathustra says:
Same thing, appearance is relative to perception.
Goat says:
yep, but appearance isnt the best word
Zarathustra says:
I know but you know what I mean
Zarathustra says:
I love the way theoretical physics ties in with all this stuff
Goat says:
yeah, but one day, some poor bastard in school will be studying our dialogues
Zarathustra says:
That poor fuck....all those conversations where we just call each other gay....you faggot
Goat says:
ha ha. want to get a web space and dedicate it to our dialogues?
Zarathustra says:
Ya know we can save all the MSN ones
Goat says:
how?
Zarathustra says:
Comes up if I wanna save it when I end a conversation
Goat says:
Doesnt for me. ill just copy it to word
